Visuals.fm Release Notes - 10.16.2026

The Visuals Agent runs exactly the cards you name, your requests and canvas edits are never lost, more honest song setup, M4A songs on Seedance, and lyric videos that fit short songs.

Written by Sebastian Mourra

What's New in Visuals

Tell the Visuals Agent exactly what to run, and that is what runs.

It now follows requests like "change First Note, rerun only First Note, and don't touch the image". And if something goes wrong along the way, your messages and your edits are kept.

The short version:

  • The Agent runs exactly the cards you name, and waits when you ask

  • Agent requests survive closed tabs, with a safe Retry message

  • Your canvas edits are kept when a save can't be confirmed

  • Songs: no false credit costs, and gentler messages when analysis falls short

  • Seedance takes M4A songs

  • Lyric videos fit short songs and real clip lengths

  • Free plan changes: 1 song, and a larger watermark

The Agent runs what you name

The Agent now understands the way people actually ask:

  • Only and don't touch. "Change First Note, then rerun only First Note, and don't touch Second Note or the image."

  • Everything except. "Run everything except the images."

  • Fix one card. Name a failed card and the Agent fixes and reruns just that one.

  • Counting. "Make these 8 text cards 16, and run all 16."

  • Waiting for you. Say "only if I approve" and it waits.

If a request is unclear, the Agent asks instead of guessing. Before it says a flow is ready, it also checks its own work: missing connections, and clips too long for the model. If a clip is too long, it asks which part to use.

Nothing gets lost

Your Agent requests

If you closed the tab or your connection dropped while the Agent was working, it could stop early, or a new tab could say the request failed when it was still running. Now a new tab picks up the finished reply and every canvas edit.

If Visuals can't confirm the Agent started, it tells you your message is saved and shows a Retry message button. That sends the same request once, never a copy.

Your canvas edits

If you went offline or a save clashed with another change, the visual canvas could roll back your recent edits, or say saved when it wasn't. Now your edits stay on screen, a failed save says so, and Run waits until the save is sorted. Review save recovery opens Recover your edits with 3 choices: Keep my edits, Download my edits or Use saved version.

Closing a project during a normal autosave now just waits for it to finish, without a warning.

Songs, more honest

  • No false credit costs. The Upload Song window said uploads cost credits per minute, and Transcribe with AI said 15 credits. Both are free, and now they say so.

  • Gentler when analysis falls short. If music analysis can't finish, the upload says Ready with limited analysis and the song still works, instead of showing red errors.

  • An estimated feel. When genre, mood, energy or tempo can't be measured, the song page shows an estimate, marked Estimated by AI listening.

  • A better lyric summary. It now comes from the lyrics alone: themes, who is speaking, the emotional arc and the images. So the Agent stops copying a made up film scene.

Seedance takes M4A songs

M4A files, the kind you get from an iPhone or Apple Music, were turned away by Seedance. Now connect one to Seedance 2.0, Seedance 2.0 Fast, Seedance 2.0 Mini or Seedance 2.5 (paid plans), and it is converted for you, including a trimmed section. Kling Avatar V2 does the same.

Seedance 2.0 Fast and Mini runs with audio and references also fail less often. Seedance audio still needs to be 2 to 15 seconds, and on Fast and Mini it needs to be under 15MB.

Lyric videos that fit

  • Sections stay inside short songs. On a short song, Best and Verse could pick 15 seconds from an 8 second song. Now sections always fit, including ones you edit by hand.

  • Full Clip fills your section. It now uses each clip's real length instead of a guess.

  • The song is ready first. On the free plan, lyric, image, poster and motion tools now get the song ready before they start, and tell you clearly if lyrics or timing are missing.

  • Reframing shows an "up to" price. The Create Lyric Video button now shows the most it can cost. Clips that were already reframed cost nothing, so you often pay less, and if the price would come out higher than shown, you are asked first.

Free plan changes

  • 1 song on the free plan. Free accounts can add 1 song. It is saved when you upload it, and analyzed the first time you use it. Adding a second song opens the upgrade screen.

  • A larger watermark. Free images and videos now also carry the Visuals logo across the middle, on top of the corner mark. Paid plans stay clean.

  • Plan limits open the plans screen. When something needs a paid plan, you now see the plans screen and the reason, instead of a general error.

Also fixed

  • Gallery downloads work, for single files and selections.

  • No false export failures in Studio. A finished export could show Video render failed. If Visuals can't confirm the status, it now says Export status unavailable and lets you check again without exporting twice.

  • Text stays sharp at 720p. Exporting at a smaller size could cut text off.

  • No extra save bar in Studio. If a save fails, a small Retry control shows instead.

  • My Library shows Searching your library… while a search runs, instead of flashing no results.

  • Small canvas fixes: the trim panel shows your real selection, and finished Compose and Render cards stay done.

  • Plus assorted polish on sign in, previews and loading states.
