What's New in Visuals
Your music now lives in My Library, right next to everything you make from it.
Catalog used to be its own page. To make a cover or a lyric video for a song, you had to leave it, open the right tool and pick the song again. Now Catalog sits inside My Library, and every song has a menu that takes you straight to the tool you want, with the song already picked.
The short version:
Catalog moved into My Library, with a create menu on every song
Search now finds folders and collections, even ones inside others
Every song picker searches your whole catalog by title or artist
"None" between clips now gives clean hard cuts
Caption shadow "None" stays off in your export
Older lyric and visualizer projects keep their fonts
Stop on a running flow says what it is doing
Catalog, inside My Library
Click Catalog in the side rail and it opens inside My Library, with Songs, Albums and Official assets in the sidebar.
Make something from any song
Every song has a ... menu:
Open release hub
Open in Editor
Create Cover
Create Canvas (a Spotify Canvas loop)
Create Lyric Video
Master Audio
View Details
Each one opens the right tool with that song already picked.
Add songs from anywhere
Use Upload song in the New menu, from an empty Catalog, or just drop audio files onto the Catalog. You get the full upload window, with lyrics, album, language, privacy and processing options.
Song rows also show small tags for genre, mood and energy once a song has been analyzed. Old Catalog links still work and bring you to the new spot.
Find anything in My Library
Search finds folders and collections. Before, typing in the search box did nothing on the Folders and Collections views. Now it finds them by name, including ones tucked inside other folders.
The All folders and All collections pages have their own search box.
Every song picker searches your whole catalog. Create, Poster, Motion, the lyric video maker, Audio Mastering, Studio and flows all let you search by title or artist, and Load more Songs. Audio Mastering used to stop at your first 50 songs.
Renamed items keep their new name when you open them in the large viewer.
Lyric videos and Studio
Hard cuts are clean. Choosing None (Hard Cut) between clips could still leave fades on some of them. Now it clears them, in the lyric video maker, the Compose card and the editor. If you then change one clip on purpose, that change sticks.
Caption shadow "None" means none. Picking None under Text Shadow looked right in the editor, but the export still had a glow behind the words. It's gone now. Projects saved before this may need None picked again.
Older projects keep their fonts. Some older lyric and visualizer projects opened and exported in a plain default font. They use the font you chose again. Videos already exported with the wrong font need a new export.
Add a song opens the full music settings. You can paste lyrics and pick skip options straight away. The button now says Continue, or Upload & Generate Captions for spoken audio.
Pasted lyrics show up everywhere. If timing could not be matched, the lyrics you pasted were being ignored. Now they show in song details, the Lyrics section and the song player, and the Visuals Agent can read them.
Remix as a lyric video keeps your pick. Choosing As Lyric Video on an image or video now carries it into the lyric video maker, marked Selected source.
The visual canvas and the Agent
Stop says what it is doing. After you pressed Stop, the progress bar kept saying things like Animating. Now it says Stopping flow… and that cards already running will finish.
The Agent no longer quietly changes your aspect ratio. If the model can't make the size you asked for, the Agent is told which sizes it supports and picks one, or suggests another model.
Blank prompts stay blank. An image card meant to use only reference images no longer gets "Generate an image of..." filled in.
Compose explains a missing frame. Connecting a video's Frame Output without picking a frame used to give a black preview. Compose now tells you to choose a frame or connect the Video Output instead.
Empty text results show an error. A Gemini text card could finish with just "No content generated". It now fails clearly, so you know to run it again.
A few things to know
Video lip-sync in Avatar Studio is no longer available. The tab says so, and your past lip-sync videos are still there. To make a portrait talk, use Animate a photo, which opens the talking avatar flow.
The Rachel voice was removed from voiceovers. Voiceovers you already made with it are kept.
Also fixed
Kling videos download as a file. They could open in your tab instead, and you lost your place.
Video details show the real length. The audio setting is now called Audio generation, so Off means no new audio was made, not that the video is silent.
Picks stay picked in the Assets panel when you switch between Images, Videos, Audio and Text.
Download all assets in a project now includes saved text.
Opening saved projects from AI apps connected to Visuals works, and new flows made there come with a link to open them.
A round of fixes after a big update behind the scenes on 10.06. If My Library, exports, Studio, song previews, old bookmarks or your plan badge acted up on 10.06 or 10.07, they are back to normal.
Plus assorted polish on menus, previews and error messages.
