Visuals turns a song, an image, or just an idea into finished video and images. This article gets you from a new account to your first finished asset.
1. Sign up
Create a free account at app.visuals.fm/signup. You get 3 free video treatments. You start with no credits.
2. Start a treatment
Pick a format: music video, lyric video, Spotify Canvas, ad creative, social content, mini drama and more.
Add your song, photos or an idea. A free account can add 1 song.
Visuals writes 3 directions for your video, each with AI stills.
Redoing a single still is free. Revising a whole direction uses 1 of your 3 treatments. They are for the life of the account and do not reset.
3. Make the video
To turn a treatment into a video, press Make this video and pick one:
Draft, $5, one time. This one video in 480p with a watermark. No plan needed.
HD, $10, one time. This one video in clean 720p, with commercial use. No plan needed.
Creator, $19 a month. 400 credits a month, 1080p with no watermark, commercial use.
Pro, from $39 a month. 900 credits a month or more, premium models.
Yearly billing saves 20%. Your first paid subscription adds 200 bonus credits, once.
A Draft or HD video is 15 seconds, with your song's chorus over it if you added one. Buying it adds just enough credits for that one video (about 49 for a Draft, about 104 for HD), and your account stays on the Free plan. That's expected.
4. On a plan: tell the Agent what you want
Type what you want in plain language. You do not need to know which model or which settings to use. Examples:
Make a looping Spotify Canvas from my cover art
Make a lyric video for this song, moody and blue, vertical
Give me 5 social clips from this track for TikTok
Make a show poster for a Friday night set in Miami
You can attach a file instead of describing it. Drag in your song, your cover, a photo, or a video.
The Agent builds the flow for you: it picks the cards, wires them together, asks about anything it still needs, and runs it. You watch it build on the visual canvas next to the chat.
For something large, it works in phases and checks with you as it goes, so you can steer before credits get spent.
5. Watch the run
Every card tells you where it is: Queued, Generating, Rendering, Complete, or Failed. A progress ring fills as each card works.
The ring around your profile picture shows how much of this period's credits are left. Click your picture for the exact number.
The Agent knows your balance. It will always offer at least one option you can afford today, and it shows the price before it runs anything.
6. Change what you do not like
Ask the Agent. "Make the second clip slower", "try this in 9:16", "the color is too warm".
Or edit the card yourself. Click a card to select it, double click to open it.
Every card keeps its versions. Click an older version and the prompt, model, duration, and settings that made it come back with it.
7. Get your files
Right click a card and choose Download, or select several cards and use the Download button on the selection bar. Everything you make also lands in My Library.
Where your work lives
Flows are what you build on the visual canvas.
Projects hold your flows.
Compositions are what you build in the video editor, like a lyric video.
Renders are your finished exports.
All four sit under Studio in My Library, alongside every image and video you generate.

To make the video, buy a single video with no plan ($5 for a watermarked 480p Draft, $10 for clean 720p HD), or choose a plan. A single-video purchase adds just enough credits for that video (about 49 or 104) and you stay on the Free plan. Credit packs are for paid plans only, and their credits last 12 months.
Got the old 100 introductory credits? You keep them until they expire.
